Meet Bernard Haynes

I have learned from leading

Everyone has the potential to lead with impact

I have learned from leading, studying and observing other leaders that you don’t have to have special credentials, a fancy title or a created position to lead. You are a leader if you are a parent, youth league coach, CEO, janitor, teacher, student or employee. Authentic leadership is not about a position or title; it is a matter of the heart.

Why I started Lead to Impact

I started Lead to Impact to give individuals and organizations practical tips and tools to help them lead the way they were meant to lead.

My desire is to help individuals lead well in the seven areas of life (spiritual, relational, physical, mental, social, financial, and professional) so that they make a greater impact in their life, family, community and work. Think of this site as a laboratory or a workshop where you’ll learn things that you can implement right now to help you lead with impact.

business leadership

My leadership background began in Production Management with Bluewater Ropes, one of the largest manufacturers/distributors of climbing and rescue ropes in the world and ended as General Manager/Director of Sales. I gained excellent leadership, customer service and communication skills by leading 35 people in our manufacturing / distribution facility, nine outside sales reps across the United States and Canada and traveling across the US visiting major companies like REI, Bass Pro, Campmor and EMS. I am currently Production Manager & Quality Manager for Rescue Technology, a world leading manufacturer and distributor of technical rescue equipment.

My Family

I have been married to my lovely wife, Dana, for over 28 years. We have two wonderful sons, Jordan and Jalen.

ministry leadership

I have held key ministry leadership positions the last 30+ years. I have served as Church Operations Manager, Marriage Ministry Leader, New Members Facilitator, Men’s Small Group Leader and Prison Ministry Leader. My wealth of active leadership experience in ministry, from serving in a small family church to starting a ministry from the ground up, serving in a thriving mega ministry and serving in a multi-cultural ministry has equipped me to help individuals lead the way God designed them to lead.
